It all started in Grandma's kitchen
Growing up in the Bronx, Chef Dominick discovered his passion for cooking at his grandmother's side. After proudly serving in the U.S. Coast Guard-including response efforts at the World Trade Center-he used his GI Bill to attend culinary school in South Florida and began his professional journey.

Guided by chefs from around the world, Dominick honed his craft in North and Latin American cuisine, Cuban, Caribbean, Italian, Asian and more. He also trained in advanced techniques like sous vide and molecular gastronomy. His career led him through high-volume restaurants, executive chef roles, and private community dining-eventually launching his own catering company: Broken Dish Events.

Today, Broken Dish delivers private chef experiences, elevated catering and culinary education throughout Florida. With a commitment to quality, creativity and heartfelt service, we bring unforgettable food and seamless hospitality to every event-from dinners to large celebrations.
